Create access Magento 2.x
The connection of a Magento 2.x store is done via the OscWare connector file and via the Magento API.
Connection via the OscWare connector file
The installation is done according to the instructions for the General Webshop Connection to OscWare.
Magento 2.x API setup
- Open the user administration in the Magento backend.
- Click on"Add New User".
- Enter the data of the new user. Then click on"User Role" (8).
Note: In the"Your Password" field (7), please enter the password of the currently logged-in user.
You will need the "User Name" (1) and the assigned"Password" (5) later in the OscWare configuration. - Set the user role"Integration" and then click on"Save User".
- The user is now created and you can continue with the configuration in OscWare.
Entering the access data
In the OscWare configuration under step 1 the following credentials are needed:
- Path to oscware-connector.php file
- Magento username
- Magento password
These access data must be stored in the Magento profile (1) in the OscWare configuration.
After you have filled in all "red" marked fields, please perform the connection test (6) and (9). Afterwards confirm all entries with a click on "Finish" (10).
